Hidden in the woods, this unique property is 6 km from the Želiv Monastery and 9 km from Humpolec. The oldest stone dam in the Czech Republic was built between 1921 and 1927 on the Želivka River below the confluence of the Jankovský Stream and the Hejlovka River. Sedlická dam is 15 meters deep and has an area of 40 hectares. This tourist-neglected cultural monument is called by the locals “Velká” and they are very proud of it.
